Veneers are thin slivers of porcelain placed over the front of a tooth. They are usually applied to the six teeth in the upper jaw – the teeth that show when you smile.
If you have a small chip or break in a front tooth, it may be possible to cover the tooth with a veneer, restoring its appearance. A very thin amount of enamel is removed from the tooth and a veneer is made to the same thickness, with a thicker part to disguise the chip or break. Your veneer will be made to match the natural shade of your teeth. Using our CEREC machine, your veneer can be created while you wait.
